New Venus - Earth 
Naval Support Treaty 3204


In order to optimise their naval dispositions in 
the interests of the defence of humanity and to promote better 
co-operation between the two navies, The Republic of New Venus & 
The Solar Republic & Empire, henceforth "the signatories", agree 
to the following: 


To support & maintain specific naval forces 
belonging to the other signatory, as laid out in 
appendix II;  



   1.1.
   Said support & maintenance will be of a 
   quality & frequency at least as good as that 
   performed on their own ships;





Each signatory is only obligated to support the 
naval forces specified in appendix II, up to the 
specified level of SVs and in the specified quadrant 
or sector.  




   2.1.
   Should the cost of a specified force increase past the level 
   indicated in appendix II, the supporting polity is only obligated to 
   pay up to the agreed level of SVs. They may choose to pay some or all 
   of the increased cost but 	that is entirely at their own discretion 
   and may be changed without notice.



   2.2.
   Should the cost of a specified force decrease below the level 
   indicated in appendix II, then the supporting polity may choose to pay 
   only the decreased cost. However, the obligation to pay up to the specified 
   level remains should the cost subsequently increase.  



   2.3.
   Should a specified force, or parts thereof, move to a quadrant or sector 
	other than the one(s) specified in appendix II, then the supporting polity is 
	no longer obligated to support said force, or parts.  They may choose to 
	support such forces but that is entirely at their own discretion and this may be 
	changed without notice.  If said forces move back into the quadrant or sector 
	specified in appendix II then the supporting polities obligation under this 
	treaty will resume 100 days after said return or after they are informed of said 
	return by the owning polity, whichever is the later.




The signatories will conduct a meeting in the 
first octant of each year 3205-3207 & the last octant 
of 3207.  Such meetings can change any of the 
details in the appendices, with the agreement of 
both signatories, ratified by their respective head 
of government. Meetings may be held more often if 
both signatories agree.

This treaty will expire at midnight, Earth standard time, 3207.400.  


-------------- Appendix II --------------
The SHC is to be appointed by the Summit and assisted by an Allied 
Central Command Staff (ACCS) made up of a representative from each of 
the polities.  Polities will appoint their own representatives to ACCS.  
JAC commanders are also to be appointed by the Summit.

Details are specific by year:

3205:

The RNV will support the IEN 14th Battle Fleet in Q6 for 50 SV;

The SR&E will support the VN 17th fleet in Q7 for 46 SV & 3rd Scout 
Flotilla in any of Q7, or sectors DJ or EJ, for 9 SV [Total 55 SV from Q7].

3206:  As for 3205

3207: As for 3205

3208 and after:  No agreement.
